I love the melodic lyrics of this song, the inspiration that fills me with. To Kiss before it is too late, to make moves before ‘the withering dawn’ and take opportunities before it’s gone forever. How often do we fail that one and only chance, and miss the only moments that count? Just like the Before sunrise movie, take the chance before it’s too late. Do we all have those memories held deep, and close to our souls? The memories of lost days, and words we never had the courage to speak?
This song was written by Tuomas Holopainen and perform by Marco Hietala for Finnish movie Lieksa that release somewhere around October 2007. The song itself was included on Nightwish’s “Amaranth” single. I think that this song is above all single on this albums.
