An OS is nothing without meeting entertainment needs of the user. This time I’ve compiled Pulse Audio from Mandriva src rpm for KLIXs and it work as I expected without major difficulties on dependencies. Overall, Pulse Audio is a sound server that has the ability to accept sound input from one or more sources. Pulse Audio is particularly interesting because it allows scripting capabilities through the command-line interface. It has the ability to synchronize multiple playback streams and many features that could ease user especially if they don’t have an idea what type of stream it is. Although the sound server runs perfectly well on the systems but I’ve noticed some unnicely behaviour on some task especially after I open some youtube video or liputan6.com video streaming then back to Amarok to play some of my favorite songs, the sound on Amarok suddenly dead eventhough the progress bar were playing. Have to reset the Xserver to bring back sounds. This must be some configuration mislead on system equalizer widechanges and I have no idea how to fix this rightnow. Some leads found on Ubuntu forum but not have recognized yet to port in KLIXs.
